Halliford School is an independent day school for boys aged between 11 and 18.
The administrative centre of the School is a fine Georgian House set in six acres beside the River Thames.
Behind the old house are modern buildings housing light and airy classrooms, an information technology centre, art rooms, a design and technology workshop and four acres of playing fields.
There is also a multi-media lecture theatre/assembly hall, kitchen and dining area and a magnificent new sports hall, library and sixth form centre. Additional playing fields are to be found four hundred yards from the school gate.
The sixth form at Halliford is co-educational and Halliford welcomes girls in the sixth form.
There are over 20 subjects offered at A-Level which are taught in small groups and there are tutors available to give guidance on university entrance. Bursaries and scholarships are available.
Halliford is a small school where the staff are able to get to know all the pupils personally. The facilities are good, the teaching is excellent and the atmosphere is friendly.
Emerging from this secure community, the Halliford student goes out into the adult world equipped with self-confidence, a sound education, awareness of the needs of others and often examination results far beyond his or her expectations.
